Hello, my name is Stella Gutierrez. I'm twenty-three years old, and I'm obsessed with art. To me, every day is a blank canvas that is painted anew by every person in the world.
I'm not very different from all of you. Like everyone else, I love music and food. I love laughing and talking. I like observing people. I like reveling in vintage ephemera and being inspired by thoughtful works of art. And like everyone else, I love shopping.
The people who have the biggest influence on my art are Julien Pacaud and Richard Hamilton. The musicians that inspire me most are Radiohead, Thom Yorke, The Notwist and Sparta. |

I chose the name Transposition because it is a perfect representation of change. Like all things, my artistic influences are constantly changing.
The site was registered at Netrillium (now AxisHost) on November 21, 2005 and was officially launched in February of 2006. The site is generously hosted for free by Travis. I used scripts from Dynamic Drive and Electric Prism.
The images for the current layout come from Plan59 (with permission from Dave, the site owner), and SXC.hu. I used the programs Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to put everything together. |
